“No weapon formed against you shall prosper and every tongue which rises against you in judgement you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me, says the Lord.” Isaiah 54:17
Strength comes from the Lord. There’s a certain level of peace attached to knowing that God goes with us. We shouldn’t be surprised when weapons are forged against us. The Bible tells us that this WILL happen, but also gives us the assurance that WHEN they are formed, they won’t prosper.
As we meditate on this assurance, let us also pray for this kind of safety and peace on behalf of our Law Enforcement. As they stand in the frontlines on a day-to-day basis, these officers are constantly faced with difficult situations and forced to take quick action.
