“I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them.” Romans 16:17
One of the greatest tricks of the enemy, is not necessarily turning Christians away from Christ, but simply turning Christians away from each other. You see, he doesn’t have to get us to denounce God entirely, he just has to distract and divide us long enough to weasel himself into our lives. Today, let’s pray for unity – unity in our nation, in our homes, in our churches.
Let us be hyper aware that our enemy is not our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, or even the church down the road, but that our enemy is THE enemy. Now, more than ever, our nation needs unity. Let us be a house that not only stands, but stands firmly on the Word of God.
