DAY 14 – Philippians 4:13

And when Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.” Mark 2:17 

The Bible paints a beautiful picture of Jesus being the Great Physician. This illustration gives us the assurance that our healing is in Him! Just like that spiritual healing, there is a physical healing on earth that “those are sick” are in need of. Those who are healthcare workers have an important job of high regard, and it should not be taken lightly.

In this season, they have been working round-the-clock in the frontlines to make sure our communities stay safe and the sick get the care they need. With increased hours while putting their lives at risk and caring for our loved ones, let’s cover them in prayer! Christ is the one who provides strength, as Philippians reminds us, so let us pray for God’s strength to be their source.
